Over 90 peer-reviewed articles (Current Contents or Science Citation Index) mostly on boundary-layers, atmospheric buoyancy waves, coastal & mountain meteorology and climatology; one of the higher cumulative impact factors among Croatian geophysicists (published with over 150 coauthors from 5 continents).

Main contributions – airflow over double bell-shaped mountains; inclusion of the WKB method into geophysical boundary-layer studies (a new modeling approach); Coriolis effect on sloped boundary-layers; behind orographic-wave breaking; mixing length-scale over sloped terrain; mixing-length scale parameterization for very stable boundary layers; turbulence of severe downslope windstorms, etc.

Cited about 2370 times by Web of Science, Thompson Reuters, or over 2550 times by Scopus base, or over 3710 times by Google Scholar, h index: 28, 29 and 34 by Web of Science, Scopus and Google Scholar (with i10 index: 63), respectively.

Cumulative impact factor over 410.

Invited over 10 times per year to contribute to conferences, workshops and solicited seminars.

SCI. PROJECTS

PI on 3 national and 2 international projects (at the Univ. level) since 2005, CoPI on several former international projects. A national project, BORA, has been one of the few most productive projects in Geosciences financed by the Croatian Ministry of ScXience, Education and Sports (2007-2014).

Collaborator on Viticulture and Climate Change in Croatia, 2017-2019, VITCLIC, and SWALDRIC - a collaboration with ETHZ, Switzerland, PI's are Christoph Schär and Maja Telišman-Prtenjak.
